Plagiarism

Hi guys! I'm back and this time were gonna talk about Plagiarism cases here in the Philippines. First off, we have the Bench plagiarizing a student's work. According to the student it was his project for his Visual Design 1 Class, in which after passing he posted it on Facebook and later on it was seen on Bench's latest Fiasco. Stating that Bench never informed him about it neither did they asked for permission.

Second, we have Pinoy Rapper plagiarizing "Dalaga" from a Korean-based music producer.
The hit-song "Dalaga" by Rapper Arvey had some beats similar to the Mix-tape Seoul titled "Robin". Fans have been disappointed about the said issue.

Next in line we have, " The Little Hero " plagiarism.  It is said that a Filipino writer  plagiarized some artwork from a South Korean artist. The writer copied some of the works and put it in the book which was published by Kahil Press.

Third we have the Switzerland campaign and the Philippines tourism slogan plagiarism. It was stated that the Slogan " It's more fun in the Philippines" was plagiarized from the 1951 Switzerland campaign " It's more fun in Switzerland".

Last but not the least, we have "Sotto's speech Plagiarized ". It was a speech given about Human Reproduction Bill, unfortunately, it turned out that some of his speeches were plagiarized from various sources. And now his facing the plagiarism case head on.

And that's it for today guys! Hope you learned a lot about Philippines plagiarism cases.

Internet Threats and Scandals

Hi again! I’m back and this time I will be sharing an experience about internet threats and scandals. So to be honest, I’ve never experienced such things that are way too dangerous and serious. My Facebook hasn’t been hacked yet, well, not actually hacked, I guess. It was way back when I was in grade 8, as I mentioned in my past blog, I was too obsessed on Facebook. So basically, it means I’m an active member. But there was an instance wherein I was trying to open my account and I saw that there was a notification, so I clicked it and it directed to a post. I opened it and realized that I wasn’t the one who posted the update. And it actually says “Hi everyone!!!!” as I was watching it I was trying to figure out who could have done that? It could be my friends or my brother. But, since there was no use of trying to find out who did it, because it was already posted. So, what I did was I just deleted the post and forgot about it because it wasn’t that serious.
Another thing that I happened was when I was in my grade 7, when I was just making my Facebook account and since I don’t know that much yet, I literally accepted everyone who sent me a friend request, even though I don’t know them. Then after a few months, a message suddenly appeared, at first I didn’t reply because I didn’t know that person. So in order for me to know him/her I searched the name and I stalked the account. When I saw that it was fine, I replied. So to sum up my blog, I didn’t actually experience internet threats and scandals. And that’s all thank you!

My ICT Experience

Hi! Allow me to share my experience about (ICT) Information and Communications Technology, ever since I was a kid i was already exposed on technology. I used to play the game called GTA: San Andreas with my big brother and sometimes with my father. Later on I discovered that those gadgets purposes were more than playing games. They are useful for mostly everything, from searching thing and asking questions that your curious about, booking tickets, to communicating to other people from all around the world and even knowing strangers. When I became a teenager, I got to know more about the Internet, it was used for searching assignments and watching videos and sometimes I ask for questions that I ponder about. After some experiences I became addicted to the application called Facebook which was under the category of the Social Networking Sites (SNS). Day and night I used it, I was either chatting with my relatives or friends and sometimes strangers. I also use it to past time, I enjoy reading stories in some pages that are fictional and some confessions. By reading those confessions I got to know more what it’s like out there in the real world. Another thing that I got addicted to was watching videos especially in Youtube and Kissasian sites. I like to watch videos in any themes and movies that have different genres. My addiction to the Internet was way out of my control, and my parents noticed it so they decided to manage my time carefully when it comes to using the computer. They told me to minimize the time that I spend on the internet and try going outside and make friends with our neighbors, but I wasn't the type of kid who was outgoing, so I didn't listen to them. However, I realized that I need to use the internet in a proper way, I need to set my perspective in the good side. And slowly I minimized and managed my time in using the computer, I only used it when it was necessary. And when I have my free time, that is when I open my Facebook account or maybe watch movies and videos on Youtube.

The ICT is useful to us because we are using it in our daily lives. With it we can easily access informations that we would like to know. On the other hand, most of us rely on the internet and we think that the information that is written or shown in there are all credible, but that is not true. Not everything in the internet is credible. Also, one thing that I learned during these years of using technology is that we shouldn’t rely on it that much, we should use it in a proper way, and limit your time in using the internet, because internet addiction isn’t something that is easy to neglect. Once your addicted to it, it’s hard for you to let go. And that is all of my experiences in ICT.

My Autobiography

Autobiography

      All about me

Hi, my name is Gelaica M. Cabunag, age 15, born in January 4,2004. Currently studying at Tagum National Trade School in the Senior High level. Residing at Bermudez plz. Molave st. Apokon Tagum City. The second daughter of the loving Cabunag family together with my 2 other siblings. To describe myself, in my opinion, I am a very pessimistic person always thinking about the negative side of life, I totally don't care about others cause' they aren't me and as they say, we have our own story to tell and our own journey to walk. Although sometimes I tend to care about them but only to those who are a part of my life. I'm the kind of student that ain't sociable, I'm like the most boring person you ever gonna talk to, the nerd type, or should I say the Introverted one. I really enjoy being alone cause' it gives myself that so called "me time" and it helps me relax a lot.

Nevertheless, I am happy with my family, I am showing my bright side only in my family at home or either to my friends. I'm a jolly person at home, I really don't know why but I have different kind of attitudes that shows up anytime. Sometimes I become a jolly person but then my mood changes to being the most serious girl you ever knew. Anyways I'm just telling you this stuff cause' if you ever see me, well at least you know what type of person I really am.
